My very favourite picture of this month was one subject I have missed taking lots of times before. In the middle of the night I love to see the stars (especially when at a less light polluted place than london!) and I always think I will get the big camera out and take their picture tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes as the clouds always appear! So this time I chose the low tech and instant solution of using the picnic table as a tripod and a few experiments with a 30 second long exposure gave me this gorgeous night sky with only a little light pollution glow from the bright lights of Fishguard. Our friend’s bright bell tent has it’s own lighting of fairy lights at night and I lit our giant green tent with my headlamp for a few seconds.
