I’ve known this little one’s Daddy for more than half my life now, so it was extra special to meet his brand new daughter for some lifestyle newborn photography at 4 weeks old in their home in Richmond, London. Mum and Dad were both clearly in love with their new addition and she had so many cute outfits to try on especially those made by the family. Though of course I did do some photos with less clothes to see those chubby baby arms and legs!
Here are my three favourites from the session though it’s so hard to choose! Firstly the little one with mummy and daddy in their garden, cuddled in her Daddy’s arms, I love looking from the parent’s viewpoint at their precious baby.
Secondly this one of a wide awake baby showing her curious personality as she watched us intently while laid on her beautiful bright swaddling wrap. That’s one of the advantages of an ‘old’ newborn at three or four weeks old, there is less opportunity for sleepy curled up pictures, but more for baby with open eyes. Baby has already begun to look around more and stares up with beautiful new baby wonder!
